Factory reset to get back some speed?

[AC Question]

I have a Note4. It seems a little slow these days. On a different device, a nexus 7 gen 2 I watched the tablet get slower with each Android system update. I'm wondering if that is what is happening on my Note4 or whether it is just too many apps loaded and too much stuff on the Note4. I'm thinking of doing as deep of a reset as I and then loading apps as I remember that I need them. Photos, music and docs are all in the cloud so I wouldn't bother to even back up anything before a complete reset. Maybe I'll find that I use 100 apps rather than the 320 that I have loaded.

Is it worth doing this?
