This happened to my Note 2 also. There was a recent update, might have happened then but just noticed today.

It always thinks I'm where the map thinks my home is and that's a few blocks away from where my home actually is. But nevertheless, when I ask for directions, no matter where I am, it gives me directions where it thinks home is. Today, it showed my location on Linton Blvd but the blue direction line was from the home address.

Any ideas?

If it's using Google Maps for location services (which is should be), then the issue might be an inaccuracy with Google Maps and not your phone. I live in the sticks and plugging my address into Google maps would get the pin dropping about 500 yards away from my house...in the middle of a 25 acre field. I submitted an updated location to Google and within a few days it was corrected on Maps.
