Looks like the Samsung Site removed the 128GB.

Samsung just notified The Verge that the Note 5 and S6 Edge+ will not come in 128GB and will be fixing their website to the correct GB's.

Samsung marketing taken over by Apple agents? Hah, we (Apple) will make Samung create a device like ours were, but we will remove the glass backs and have 128gb storage options :)

This makes no sense what Samsung is doing (design, etc). Hopefully the people that made the decisions are placed in a basement with red staplers and no paychecks.

That said, the price would be near $1,000 after tax so maybe Samsung knows no point, since most of those people would move on to other devices anyway.

I currently use a Note 3, was looking forward to Note 5 and am NOT going to to settle for a phone that I can not use.

I use a 64GB SD card and currently show about 51GB total between it and the phone. I save a lot of pictures to my phone for work as well as PDFs, Docs, Mp3s and DroidTV video files.

We have 2 smartphones on UDP and a dumb phone I'm canceling next month since I can't use it for upgrades anymore.

The new Samsung S6 I got for my wife in May was the 1st time I paid full retail, $800 for the 128GB then had to pay $99 for the Mophie Juice Pack to make it last all day. This after VZ determined she was 1 hour past the 14 day return period.

I'm looking very hard at the Moto X Pure, I like the idea of being able to take the phone to any major carrier when VZ finally cancels UDPs. I REALLY like not giving them an extra $300 profit by paying full price for the phone.

Maybe the Moto won't drop calls like my Samsung's have.

Pretty dumb to not offer 128 gb when you don't have an SD slot. What is Samsung smoking?

Negative there will not be an option for 128gig spokesperson for Samsung said it was made in error. There is no option for 128gig.

AT&T is asking a $99 difference between the 32GB and 64GB versions on the "Next" plan. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ costs even more. I can only imaging the difference in price if 128GB was offered!

It certainly was an error - an error to NOT offer a 128GB. A lot of folks I know who got the iPhone 6+ got it with 128GB. Another kick in the teeth to Samsung!

I paid $200 extra for 128GB on an S6
Which is $130 more than a fast sd and still less total storage. This though was Samsung's intent. They make the margin and the consumer pays more. The more Samsung emulates Apple, the more share they lose.

Samsung appears to be aiming lower this time with just a 64gb model increase.

I wonder if the carriers are getting 32/64GB to start with 128GB later on, after all they had issues keeping up with demand (so they said) on the S6 Edge and could be they are focusing on the popular storage options first or certain carriers are not interested in stocking them. It would be nice if you could just order one from Samsung to use on the carrier.

In that line of thinking, perhaps more to do with the price point and Samsung wanting to focus on the two sizes they will sell. Not many will spend $1,000 when they can find other lower cost options. Apple gets away with it since consumers are vested in the Apple ecosystem and there are no iOS competitors.

Android users can bail from one device to another without losing much. Not so for iPhone users.

I honestly think I would be fine with 64GB as the baseline and 128GB as the top-end variant.

I see 64GB phones going for prices like $299 (eMMC, though), so really, UFS 64GB shouldn't cost much extra if Samsung isn't so concerned with profits.
