I can't use air command anymore on my note 5!

HELP!
I have a samsung galaxy note 5 and I accidentally put the S-pen backwards. It kinda stuck for a while but luckily it could slide out after I tilt the phone down.

But after that incident.. for some reason the floating icon of the air command was still there even after I put the S-pen (correctly) back in. So I went to the settings and turned off the floating icon.
But the floating icon won't show up anymore even after I detach the S-pen and after I turn on the floating icon again.
I can't even jot down notes when the screen is off!
I think I broke the S-pen what should I do :'(

Try hovering the pen near the screen (should see a small circle appear) then press the button on the pen.
