Note 5 battery draining fast

1 week old Note 5. The first 2 charge went over 30 hours with minimal usage (wifi seldomly). In third charge I kept the wifi on and battery dropped 50% in 4 hours. I was told by someone that this behaviour is normal initially the phone is getting used to my app usage, but still half battery gone in 4 hours seems a bit too much.

Can someone here please guide me.

Not true.
Recommend you install GSam Battery Monitor and take a detailed look at what is draining your battery.
Sounds like you have something or somethings running in the background and draining you dry.

Find the battery thread and go over what everyone is doing to fix it.

Different carriers different issues, same as the settings, rouge apps, themes, screen brightness, HD voice, syncing and a ton of other things.

My phone was sporadic the first week. After that it settled down. I've never got 30 hrs buts it lasts a full day (7am-11pm) with usually 15-20% left.
