How can I get my Note 5 to turn off?

My Note 5 will not turn off

My Galaxy note 5 is stiuck on on the alarm screen from pandora and I can not turn the phone off or get off of that screen. In the old days I would just pull the battary but we all know that is not possible now how do I do get my phone to reboot.

Welcome to the forums. Try long pressing the power button. That should simulate a battery pull.

Press and hold the power button and volume down button for 7-8 seconds. This should reboot you like the battery pull of old.

how do I turn off my SG Note 5?

The power button is at a different place than it was on the SG note 3 apparently. Is it at the bottom of the screen? thanks
