Unfortunately this isnt like a watch where the insides is sophisticated and beautiful. The inside of a smartphone just looks bland and ugly to me.

I'm getting really tempted to remove the back and replace it with a slickwrap natural series real leather skin. My only concern is that the edges might be a little long. The thicknesses of the leather on top of the glass and the edge showing is what's stopping me from going the normal route. It seems like the back removal is easy enough

No. Because Verizon sucks. Lol. I wouldn't buy a phone from a company that deactivates half the features of a device.

The Verizon and AT&T probably will never be able to root. The software has a switch built in thise two that stop it from booting once it is rooted.

Being able to root and unroot, doesn't mean Knox isn't tripped, which voids the warranty, even if unrooted.

I thought the latest Know in Note 5 will permanently disable the phone if rooted. (i.e. automatic irreversible bricking by Samsung)

I posted the link above. The AT&T and Verizon variants can't be rooted.

Tmobile and sprint yes. Att and verizon no. They have the bootloader locked down
