Samsung Note 5 Volume to low, how can I increase it?

Samsung Note 5 Volume to low

This is my first Android and I got the Samsung Note 5 64GB from Bell. I'm liking it so far.

My biggest issue is the volume is significantly lower than my iPhone 6. I've tried the headphones when I'm in a loud environment and it's even lower.
I have tried to set all the volumes to Maximum but it's still low.

1) Is there a way to boost the volume even higher?
2) And is there a way to allow the "extra volume" button when I'm using my headphones?

I've tried all those free apps. None worked for me.

I'd rather not have to root my device to modify the mixer_gains.xml

Try the setting for hearing aid, this one increases the volume.

New to Note 5, gonna try hearing aid setting. I too find the volume much lower than my previous Note 3 and Galaxy S2 phones.

My original Note 5 phone had issue, so just received a new replacement. BIG difference, audio too low, transmit & receive, even w/ volume on max. Speaker is fine, loud for every other application but in-phone calls...and my other phone wasn't like this. Nothing obstructing speaker, tried reboot
