How much battery does location drain?

So I've been playing with my new phone since I got it on saturday, clicking on everything. While exploring the My Verizon app, I saw something called "run device health check." When I did it, it said the GPS is draining my battery. I usually have Location on, and I wanted to know if that drains a lot of battery? Thanks!

I never use GPS unless I do navigation. Or Waze.

I leave mine on because I to know the weather ehere I'm at, But haven't seen a issue with my battery.

I have mine set to battery saving in the location setting.

What keeps being high on the list for me is facebook messenger, and i hardly use it. Ive seen it show higher than the screen w over an hour of sot, when i havent touched messenger.
