galaxy note5

Have totally wipes every setting from my note5, only thing that comes up is the black screen with Samsung note5 powered by android. Is there a way to put settings on? Please help

I bought the phone in south korea came back got it opened up to Vodafone tried to factory reset and it deleted everything including settings. Can I get settings reinstalled?

Before we go any further, are you sure it's a genuine Note 5?

If it is a genuine Samsung Galaxy Note 5 then follow these instructions below and it should get you fix right up.

Got a note 5 from Korea but live in ireland when I got home left it in to be unlocked so could use here. Used on Vodafone for a day then factory reset the phone which erased all the software and only thing comes up now is Samsung logo and the recovery screen. Is there a way to fix so can use in Ireland? Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! What recovery screen--the one that gives you the option to do a factory data rest, wipe cache partition, etc.?

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes it's that screen. And yes same phone I left it in the press hoping with the time gone by be more info available. Really would like to use it.

What happens if you wipe the cache partition?

Ok, now select Reboot System Now. Does the same problem still happen?

If so, you could try using Odin to re-flash the stock ROM: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...w-flash-stock-rom-via-odin-new-interface.html

Sorry to bother you we spoke couple of weeks ago about my note 5. You recommended a fix. Lot of stuff came up didnt get a chance to do it and now i cant find the thread. I was wondering if you could send it again please.

If you're on the main AC forums website, click on the Participated button to see the threads you recently contributed to, or My Threads to see the ones you started.
