Gmail not always pushing new emails

For probably the last couple months or so, and it seems to be random, I'll get an email notification and suddenly have like 10 new emails... but they're not all "recently sent".

This morning, for example... around 9am I got an email notification, and the notification bar showed 7 new messages. However, only one was actually sent/received at 9am... the others were staggered through the night/morning, with the oldest showing I received it at 10pm last night.

Happens randomly, and at random times.

Signal is good, no dead spots, no settings changed, etc...

Any ideas?

A lot of people have this problem. I'm one of them too.

Sadly, I started to use outlook email client app to manage my gmail. At least outlook pushes my Gmail accounts correctly.

Are the messages you are not receiving in a timely manner originating from Apple owners using their messenger app. I believe this to be a well known and notorious problem.

No, generally they are from businesses.

I have this issue too. Hope there is a fix
