Why does my Note not have a dialing sound when calling certain contacts?

When I call my wife and my son it doesn't ring, they just pickup and I never hear it ring out. Well, on other contacts as soon as I hit send it dials like a normal phone does until either they pickup or it goes to voicemail. Anyone had this happen before? How did you resolve it?

Happened with my wife. It happens because we are under same plan and both calling through LTE. Once one of us switched off the LTE calling, it started to ring. Both on Rogers in Canada.

Ok, so how do i rectify that?

Turn off your LTE calling feature on your phone.
