sPen doesn't work on part of the screen

AC Question

Hi guys,

I bought a Note5 a year ago and took it to Germany. It broke and I had to order a screen replacemant from the US, since no retailer has parts for this phone in europe (thanks, Samsung).

The parts arrived and I braught it to the local phone repair shop so they can essemble it for me.

Now the problem:
The pen won't be recognised in a section of the screen (roughly the top part of the keybard. Both physical touch and hoover functionality won't work there.

Has anyone encountered a similar probem? Is the screen replacement not working or did the repair store a mistake?

thanks in advance

I don't remember where I read it but there was an issue with using cases that had magnetic latches causing S-Pen/screen disruptions.
Other than that, I would say it is a faulty repair.
