How to disable "recent files" in My Files

Hello. How do I remove this annoying recent files, which shows the recent pics that I had previously open? Thanks for any help!

Are you referring to the my files within the file manager? If so, then you can simply select all then delete. However, I am guessing that these are cached images, which will repopulate once you start looking at more images.
