GBoard Freezing every wake up

Galaxy Note 5 SM-N9208 (Dual SIM) Android 6.0.1
GBoard is freezing every time wake up screen after sleep (30 seconds of inactivity) and need to reopen to continue type.
Than I install new fresh firmware N9208XXU3BQA3, download fresh GBoard and texting, then it happen again GBoard still freezing after wake up from screen sleep.
I try to root with CF Root and the problem is stand still.
I love to use GBoard, so what I gonna do?
any suggestion?

Clearing the cache on an app is a usual way to fix some hiccups like the one you mentioned.

Clear data and clear cache. Restart phone then clear the cache partition if that doesn't work. If that fails uninstall and reinstall the app.
