OK, I broke down....

Having proudly gone case-free for so many years and preaching about it, I am seeing the increasing number of Note 7's getting shattered from small drops and starting to get nervous. I think GG5 is a joke and a downgrade from GG4, and I do not like the curved glass on front and back. Anyway, that's another rant for another time.

Went looking on Amazon for the Samsung s-view flip cover clear, but saw these two knockoffs from a company called "ai-case" I don't generally buy knock off's but these two seem to be more low profile and almost-not-there compared to the samsung cover. So I went ahead and ordered both. I was actually thinking of cutting off the flip cover thing and just keeping the back shell. Will update folks once they come in...

I would disagree.... I have seen some no names with very low quality... Not saying this one is, of course

Why would you cut off the flip?

They look quite nice, maybe you could let us know about the functionality before you cut the flip off

I love the Sview cases and Samsung branding are high quality. I am using a very expensive device. Costs more than my laptops! I am going to protect them. I take b reattach care if my tech gadgets. But I take great care of everything

The original utilizes the fast charging stand as well. I assume because of the fast charge battery any case will work. My Tumi does. But I don't like no branding cases...they don't last long and quality is subpar .

For the money you spend on the knock offs , you can buy yourself a nice spigen case for the same price
