I'd assume the vast majority would be available. Not much there to take up excess space.

Trying to understand that question. The 256 or any sd card is an option.. The system/phone will work with or without it..

It has 256gb, when your format is in the phone, it will put some system files on it, and I think one system measures 1024bt, so 256 might really look like 249gb or something like that..

Yes, it's a marketing game. The system measures it correctly, the graphics, marketing and packaging people use the smaller number for a measure. It's in thr small print. And it's a scam, but everyone does it.
