I also just purchased it for my Note 7 but have not had to use it yet. I did buy a case, which I never have before and a screen protector. Decided to go with the Skinomi. Not sure how long I'll stay with the screen protector, but it's on there for now.

Is there a certain number of days/deadline we need to purchase Samsung Protection Plus after receiving our phones?

Thinking about it pretty hard. My previous phones have not been treated that well and while I'd like to think I'd baby the Note 7 I know it is probably inevitable that something will happen.
