Iris scanner error

It repeatedly incorrectly complains I am holding the device too close. If i
I align it perfectly before the swipe, it works though. Anybody else face this problem ?
No, its not dirty; I have wiped it many times.

It's unrelated, but I was wondering how it worked with glasses.

The manual says to remove eye glasses, however mine works fine on the occasions I've had reading glasses on.

I've used the iris scanner inside my car, in the shade with shades on and it worked like normal.

Iris scanner has never worked well for me... ever. Maybe 1 out of 10 tries. Fingerprint scanner much more reliable turns out.

Same here - after a few days of struggling with it I gave up and turned iris recognition off. The fingerprint scanner is an order of magnitude better.

I've used the iris scanner inside my car, in the shade with shades on and it worked like normal.

I find it takes a second longer but still works. I was sure my dark glasses inside my car would cause issues, but it worked.

Only time I have problem with it is in really bright sun and when it too dark. Which to me is understandable. It trying to see your eyes is like me tying to drive a car with the bright sun in my face or me walking around in the dark. Lol. And sometimes I have it too far away. But other than that I have no problems with it.
