Phone doesn't prompt Security to unlock. Help please

I was fiddling around with my phone at work yesterday and I must have hit something to turn off the security Fingerprints /IRIS/PIN screen too unlock my phone. Now when I hit the Power button or home screen it has a "2second" lag and it just unlocks . I do have trusted places not on. So on body detection is off. Can someone please guide me like a *Guide to dummies* way to get this back on for me please and thanks. I hate it!
