Restarting Note 7

When restarting my note 7 it shows the android gears and says optimizing apps and than starting apps. Takes a while. My wife's Note 7 doesn't do this. Any ideas?

I have Verizon, does that make any difference?

Nope, shouldn't make any difference. I usually link the T-Mobile support pages because they're well done, and the links don't show up funny on these forums (like the Verizon support pages often do).

The carrier makes no difference. I clear my cache at least once a month. The directions posted should work perfectly.

Thanks for the tips everyone. I was wondering about this too. Mine don't do every time i restart phone. Just every now and then.

I don't restart my phone very often, probably second time since the exchange on Sept 20th. The third time it didn't show the gears and optimizing. Weird.
