While the FAA now says the 'green battery icon' Note 7s are safe to use on board, it's really going to depend on whether airlines have updated their crew with this instruction, but just in case, if you're traveling within the next few days, I'd carry a copy of this announcement just in case.
PS: Also, remember that if Airlines choose to continue the 'ban', they can. The FAA deemed it safe, but Airlines can still implement individual policies and not allow these phones to be used/charged on board. So be gentle, polite, and calm if it comes to you having to debate about this with a flight attendant.
