you can log into your sprint.com account on pc and block there.

i use textra for messaging and that give a blacklist option.

I use Textra, and all you do is long hold the message and select blacklist.

I believe in the stock messaging app you go to settings in the app, select spam filter, and manage spam numbers and input the number bothering you and it halts the spam texts or people you don't like in general.

How do I block spam text messages?

Hello there Zebra23.
With each number that sends a spam message you'll want to click on that message and on the top right hand side there is three dots, click them.
On the drop menu you will see the option "Block Number", an additional box will pop up after doing so. In this box you have two selections:
"Call Block"
"Message Block"

Choose whichever one of them you are needing. When finished press "Ok" and your problem is solved.

I'm with Verizon. I guess it's different from carrier to carrier because I don't have that option.

I just checked on my Verizon one as well and noticed it's not available. I don't use Samsung's messaging. I've been using Textra for two years. The one and only app I've ever paid for.
