I got my note 7 from Verizon (in-store, monthly payment plan) originally 8/19 and paid the taxes due, upgrade fee, etc. When it was recalled and I got the replacement I was not charged any additional fees or taxes. It is my understanding that they want the returns to be handled online. However, when I get online w/Verizon they are charging me another $80 in taxes and $20 in an upgrade fee. I don't understand why I am having to pay taxes and an upgrade fee twice. This has all been such a nightmare and I never did get the $25 credit from the first recall.
