I was reading up on it yesterday. Looks sweet. We'll have to see how fast it is with that chip. That's always the rub with Chromebooks. I love mine, but it's older (and slower). Hopefully the reviews show it to be fast enough.
It is a chromebook, chromebooks run chromium which is the chrome browser as an operating system you do not install browsers since the OS is a browse all you can install is extensions to google.
No it is not a laptop, it is a Chromebook. Chromebooks are cloud based so you do not really store anything on the device and you do not install apps since it uses extensions. There is a Beta version out of Chrome for the Chromebook that has the Android store so you can install apps but that only works on a couple of Chromebooks. I have one of them the Asus flip.
