Can I use either camera for Skype calls?

I am really new to tablets in general, my new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in particular and to Skype.
Today I made my first Skype video call. I could see and hear my friend and my friend could see and hear me.
My friend, who has an Ipad was able to switch cameras, I.e., front facing camera to rear facing camera and back again.
I could only use the front facing camera.
My question: Is there a way I can switch between cameras?

On my Note 2 I have the option to switch between cameras. Usually there is an camera icon in the corner with arrows around it which allows you to switch back and fourth between cameras.
