Hello all,
I recently got my wife a Galaxy Note 8 for traveling. She will need to take along some files, e.g., MS Word files. Since she is not going to be able to count on WiFi access at all times, I want to figure out how to get the files onto the tablet so she can see them there (and hopefully use Polaris office to edit them). Obviously getting the files into her Dropbox from the PC is easy. I can see the file that I put there as a test from Dropbox on the Galaxy. But how do I get the file actually downloaded to the Galaxy where she can work on them?
I have used ES File Explorer on my Android phone to transfer files to where I want them. (For example, to sync my Keepass database file.) But is there a better way? Is there a simpler way. My wife is OK just using Word or a browser, but she is very tech-fragile. If anything is at all different, she tends to have a lot of trouble. So I'm looking for the most straightforward possible way of dealing with downloading files. As I say, just using files directly from dropbox is not going to work since the tablet is not always going to be connected to the cloud.
Thanks,
Paul
