Accidentally Deleted email Window

So, I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, and I accidentally deleted the large window on the Home Screen that displayed my emails and allowed me to refresh them without having to open the Email app. I've looked around in the settings but I can't find out how to restore it. So how do I get that email window back? It isn't too big of a deal to have to open the mail app to see my most recent emails now, but it was more convenient before and my home screen now has a huge amount of empty space.

Can you long press on the now blank page and add the E-mail widget?

At first no, my widget screen wasn't working correctly. But after I turned it off for a bit and then back on (yes I did try this before, not sure why it worked now) I could get into the widget screen again. Thanks for the help!
