I bought mine at bestbuy and used the bestbuy card so I have until the end of september 2015 -- 18 months interest free -- to pay it off, which i think is quite a good deal. So I was wondering how and where others bought theirs since the price for the tab everywhere is about the same. I did get the 699 samsung promotion price and BB credited me the $40 when AMZN dropped the price briefly last week to $659. It's now back up to $685.

I bought mine at Verizon. Paid cash, wrote it off, so it was free.

I pre-ordered my 32GB black WiFi model through Amazon, and got it on Valentines Day. Paid full retail, obviously, but I was in love.

Picked up my second Note Pro on Saturday from Best Buy. They price matched the Amazon $659 price straight up (no gift card) for the 32gb black Wifi model.

32GB WiFi from Amazon for a net $530. Had a $200+ gift card from selling a S4 to Gazelle. Used my Amazon card and I get a year to pay for it.

I bought mine at Best Buy her in siburban DC.

I first purchased the 10.1 Pro but I couldn't live without the S-Pen. So the Samsung salesman helped me decide on the 12.2 Note Pro. I wanted a bigger screen than the 8.0 I already have, but they haven't released a 10.1 Note Pro yet. I am still deciding if I should go back and get the 10.1 2014 edition but I think I will benefit More from using this 12.2 Note Pro at work. I take all my notes on my 8.0 and now will be using this! Its Soooo big though!

It is big but I use mine while at a desk or conference table. If I needed to walk around with it in my arm like a clipboard I'd choose something smaller.

I have the note 8, the note 10.1 2014, and the note pro 12.2. As a writer, I'm using the 12.2 with hancom word as a replacement for the macbook air that I sold. I use the 12.2 in conjunction with ms word on my mac desk top. There is total compatibility. The 12.2 really isn't a haul-around tablet, at least for me, I use it with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. And I do use it stand-alone at times for consumption, ut it's not something you use in bed, too big.. My go -to driver is mostly the more comfortable to handle note 10.1. The note 8 is mainly for consumption, and my other tablet, the lg g pad is now mainly to carry when I leave my home office. Now that the 10.1 has kit kat and is about to get hancom word, I can see myself also using it like the 12.2 for productivity.

I joined a Loyalty Program which gave me 30% off coupon (for a limited time), loyalty points + cash back and then loyalty points from Sears. I purchased it online and had it shipped for free to my local Sears.

With using the discount coupon, cashback and loyalty points the ~$850 tab cost me closer to $500.00. I loved the deal.

I have totally retired my laptop and desktop except for special occasions. I'm beta testing a CAC reader and once that works I'll have no need for my laptop at all.
