Connecting a Note Pro to a PC via Bluetooth

I've been trying to get my Note Pro to talk to my Windows 7 laptop for the past two days now with no luck. I was getting a "driver not available" message (or something to that effect) on the laptop, and nothing I tried worked. I figured I'd start clean, so I deleted the Note Pro from the list of Bluetooth devices on the PC (I'd somehow made it that far, months ago), and now I can't even get the computer to detect the tablet. I've noticed in various venues on the web that others are having similar problems, but I haven't found any solutions yet.

Has anybody been successful in connecting a Note Pro to a Windows 7 PC via Bluetooth? If so, I'd really like to learn how you did it, because you're undoubtedly nothing less than a paragon of ineffable genius.
