Why has my Netgear PTV3000 stopped working with my Note Pro 12.2 (Wifi only version)?

Netgear PTV3000 has stopped working with my Note Pro 12.2 (Wifi only version)

My Sammy pro 12.2 (wifi) worked with my netgear ptv3000 a few months ago, but not now.
I don't believe I have had any updates on the Sammy or the Netgear PTV3000 since purchase.
Was trying to see if I could update the PTV3000, but couldn't connect to do so.
When trying to mirrorcast, the Sammy picks up the PTV3000, starts connecting. On my TV it shows the PTV3000 is connecting, then I get a message on the screen from the PTV3000 that "RTSP has been closed by source"
On the Sammy the error message is "Unable to start Screen Mirroring because of a hardware issue"
The current firmware version on the PTV3000 is 2.2.16
Sammy shows SEPF_SM-P900_4.4.2-0017
I have never attempted to root the sammy or modify the ROM.
Is there a setting I could have changed anywhere (in Developer Options or wherever) that could be the cause of this.

Thanks for the try, but that is all about connections to routers. As far as I know, screen mirroring does not use the router or lan network, it communicates directly (or tries!!!) between devices.

Oh, sorry! I saw the words "Netgear" and "wifi" and assumed the PTV3000 was a router.

No probs B. Diddy, with so much info to scan and take in, we all tend to skim, and miss the details!

Well, strange news is, made some more attempts to screen mirror to the PTV3000 with same results. With the TV and Pro 12.2 still scanning each other, I started to fiddle with something else, and then suddenly became aware of a change in image on the TV screen: the screen mirroring was working! In fact it seemed to work better than it ever did: no lag in mirroring 1920x1080 video. Even mirrored You-tube videos, which I am sure it never did before - put it down to not being able to cope with two wifis at once: the screen mirroring on one hand and the web browsing and you-tubing on t'other. But smooth as cream.
I had fiddled with a few settings, but my main suspect was an app I spotted while in App Manager. It was to do with screen mirroring to the Samsung All Share Cast Hub (which I don't have) and it was not long after force-stopping and uninstalling this that the Sammy screen suddenly appeared on my Panny Plasma TV.
So its a Happy Christmas for me and my Sammy Pro!

Screen mirroring stopped working again.
Sure enough, after checking I found that AllShare Cast Hub was reinstalled after a series of updates had gone through. Again did the Force Stop etc. Powered down and up again, screen mirroring back!! Someone should package up that app, tie it to a brick, and throw it through one of Samsung's windows!!
Just kidding, am a vehement anti-violence type, but seriously, Samsung should get its act together so that its apps do not interfere with each other.
