How to add folders to "Favourites" on MyFiles.

I am failing miserably to add folders to the "Favourites" on MyFiles.

I've tried to drag them both from below the Favourites & also to drag them from the right hand side (I had to clear the data from the Media Storage app [found a handy hint on xda developers to do that, but can't post the link here].
However, dragging the folders just wasn't working.

In case it's important, it's a wifi only one - bought in the UK, but, as far as I know, no further additions to the OS.

It's got Android 4.4.2 on it & MyFiles is presumably the newest version; as it's not demanding an update!

Hmm... just realised that I can "add to favourites" from the menu at the top - just not drag as the interface suggested I can. I'd looked a lot at that menu earlier when I was trying to get the folders to show on the right & it wasn't there then ... guess I forgot to look again, once I could see them!

But, why tell me to drag & drop if I can't
