Re: Samsung galaxy note?!?!
That would be a real shame. The Galaxy Note sounds like exactly what I've been looking for. I'd even be willing to switch carriers for this. Why on earth are we saddled with this ridiculous system of phones being tied to particular carriers? I should just be able to buy whatever phone I want and then get service from whatever carrier I like.
So who *is* going to carry the Note? - 09-02-2011, 12:46 PM

Re: Samsung galaxy note?!?!
Bumping this thread .... Somebody, PLEASE, tell me it will be Sprint!!!

Heck, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 would also be GREAT too

(if only the USA version supported voice)
I'm not buying another Tablet until: A pocket-sized, voice-call capable, unit is released.
Til then these vendors (not the manufacturers) can go pound sand.
None, not one, of the carriers are getting any more of my money til then!! mad:

Been using cell phones, and smartphones for as long as they have been around ~
1. Remember the Motorola Star , with clip on PDA ??
- (was nothing less than *Brilliant, for it's day and age)
2. Motorola (model that supported PTT)
3. Razor
4. Rascal
5. HTC Hero ( sometimes still wish for a trackball... just saying)
6. HTC Evo 4G * Amazing; Brilliant; Functional * - 12-12-2011, 12:42 PM #11

Re: Samsung galaxy note?!?!
lol I admire your commitment! You should do as many of us have - order one off eBay, unlocked and use on your existing carrier!
Sadly, not all carriers offer the same frequency bands I know, but I think down in the states most do. Up here in Canada all the big ones, and many of the budget ones, are all on the same frequencies.
I had no issues at all connecting to my carrier - didn't even have to set the APN, just plug-n-play.
This is the best phone I've ever used - I'm hooked! - 12-14-2011, 09:41 PM #14
