Hello Everyone. This is my first post.
I want to root my Samsung Galaxy Note on 2.3.6 but dumb me I updated OTA...
Am I stuck with a stock phone?
If I am, I'm so selling this brick! It is no good to me with stock OS.
I've always jailbroke my iPhones since 2009. So naturally I've become accustomed to customizing my phones. Now I have to learn Android's OS.
(yes, I searched for the answer)
I am a noob ONLY to android.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I can't answer your direct question but if you are new to Android you might consider looking at what you can customize with stock Android. You will have a lot more capability than on the iPhone and (IMHO) the TouchWiz interface from Samsung is really quite good.
