Support galaxy note keyboard issue

Typically I use the stylus and write instead of type but every once in awhile it stops working but the typing part of the keyboard will work. Does anybody know how to fix this issue?

Could it be from my screen protector?

If I reboot my phone it will start working again.

Well I removed the screen protector, and not had the issue again. Seems like Screen Protectors might be a waste of money?

I ask for the most bright and the most thin screen protector.
It's the most cheap and no issue at all.
But always have to get a new one every quarter.
Scratched easily.
