not sure what to do. i have transferred my number from one phone to the samsung galaxy precedent. straight talk says the transfer is complete and that i should be able to update the profile and the prl...but every time i try to update it says connection error and doesn't update. i cannot use my phone unless this updates. i have full bar for signal. suggestions?????
Have you tried rebooting the phone, unplug the charger shut down the phone, take out the battery for a few seconds, then put battery back in and turn on the phone then try the updates?
If that doesn't work then you may have to call customer support and double check that they have the correct info for the phone.

I learned that you must be in an area that services a 3g connection. I live in a small town and in order to update any profile I have to drive 35minutes away to a place that has a 3g connection service area.
