Help me out, is 2.3.6 not actually available?

Hi Gang,

Just bought my Skyrocket on Friday.

My "Settings -> About Phone -> Android Version" shows that I have 2.3.5.

I hear through the grapevine that 2.3.6 has been released for this phone.

My "Settings -> Software Update -> Check for updates" returns "Current Software is up to date".

Is 2.3.6 not actually available?

I was able to update without any issue on the very first day it came out.

Same thing with my Skyrocket. Says my 2.3.5 is the current version. Even after I just tried again today.

I have a brand new device and I'm not seeing 2.3.6. Just 2.3.5.

Ok, I might be wrong, but other people I've talked to claim that being rooted shouldn't prevent you from seeing the update, but applying the update MAY unroot your phone.

Also, I talked to a guy at work (who also has a Skyrocket) who said the 2.3.6 update was up last week, but it got pulled from the servers for reasons unknown. I asked him how he knew this and he said "I think I read it somewhere". So take THAT with a grain of salt too.
