Read the article. It says the LTE variant.

GSII LTE is not the same phone as the GSII Skyrocket. "GSII LTE" is a global phone, "Skyrocket" is an AT&T specific device. Other than AT&T saying the Skyrocket would get ICS, no official word/timeframe from Samsung yet. This was the response I got on Twitter this morning:

I am sure this refers to the international versions since they are not carrier dependent and can get the updates from Samsung. Our SR will have to get updated throught ATT which takes longer!

I would be shocked to see our SR get ICS by March 31, 2012...if this will bother you a lot, get ready to be pissed. (Those who have had a previous Samsung phone know the drill) I know starting about mid January there will be several threads ranting about this update...get ready!

Thinking about getting a Galaxy Note as a back up phone, which will not be dependent on ATT to update to ICS...

This article mentions the Skyrocket a couple of times. As others have said, the real question isn't "if", but "when" will the update happen.

As with any OS updates, it will depend on how soon the carrier (AT&T in this case) will deploy it.
