I'm only interested in batteries that fit with the stock cover.

I ordered this before I went on a camping trip.

It worked okay for me. The battery said it was 1980Mah, which I seriously doubt. And, I'm pretty sure there's no NFC. I haven't used it much, but it seemed comparable to the stock battery in my minimal use. $10 for two emergency batteries and a charger sounded like a good deal for me.

Damn 2 batteries and an external charger for under $10, pretty good deal. The batteries in the picture say NFC on them but don't see any mention of this feature.

Haha. Actually, if you look very closely at the picture, it says "Noar Field Communication". Don't know what the hell that means. The batteries they shipped to me don't look like the picture. They're all black and say they're 1980Mah instead of the stock 1850Mah. Nonetheless, they seem to work okay.

I bought an extra OEM battery and the Samsung battery charger bundle that Samsung sells on its website for only $50. Great deal cause you get the original 1,850mah battery, charger and AC charging cable. So I can charge both my phone and spare at the same time.

I'm using this battery. fix purfect and it has given me atleast 3-4 more hours yes i said hours (dont ask me how but it is)

Carry an extended battery for your Galaxy Nexus™ by Samsung when your charger is not available. This battery is a 2100 mAh with NFC. Battery times vary based upon personal use and system transition. Extended battery is packaged with an extended battery cover.

    (Part#: SAMI515BATX)

Yes i know it says Galaxy Nexus but it fits with the original skyrocket cover (very tight) but with a case you wont even notice.

Then i also bought this charger and love it. I flew from PA to las vegas and was able to watch 3 movies and keep my phone fully changed the whole time. (2 flights and 2 layovers)

I have bought a battery for my HTC Desire HD from RAVPower last month,it work well now and I can use it continuously by at least 6.5 hours. But I bought it for $29.99,but now it's $13.99.I am regret not to delay a month to buy it.So I am considering to another one.

Hey, question for you. Is this the spare battery and charger you bought from Samsung?

I was looking into it, but wasn't sure if it would work on the AT&T Skyrocket, but I think you have the same phone and provider? Thanks in advance!

I know you guys were looking for one that fits in the phone, but I bought this external battery charger a few weeks ago and have been very impressed. 8000 mAh and can charge your phone about 4-6 times with each charge, and the best thing is you don't have to shut down the phone to switch out the battery. It can charge 2 phones at a time and is as fast as my fastest plug-in charger.

Thanks. It looks great. I haven't even considered an external battery charger. Is this one of the best out there? How long have you been using it? Also how long does it take to fully charge the pack?

Takes about 12 hours to fully charge when dead. The size is perfect, same length as a SII, about half the width and about twice as thick. I've been using it for a few weeks. Its great because there are days that I don't have access to a charger for the entire day, and I am using the internet heavily, I can just plug it in and I'm good to go. Way better than extra batteries for me.

I also bought the Verizon Galaxy Nexus battery and have been completely satisified. I can get about 6 hours of battery life and still have about 40% charge. It works with the original cover, though a bit tight, but I have a Pt case and just don't put the back cover on it. Would highly recommend this battery to anyone who is looking to get a few more hours of life outta your phone.
