exchange phone for same one? at&t

The phone itself is fine but i upgraded to ics and ive had my eye on the white skyrocket. Can i just go to at&t and tell them i want to get the white one instead if Im in the 30 day period? Its also an easy way to go back to GB i mean if they say no i could just return it completely and get the white one instead

nevermind they want a 35 dollar restocking fee.. never had to pay that when i tried sprint..
