This is my 3rd Samsung, they usually fix everything with a final update right before the phone hits EOL (end of life). So yes we should get at least one more fix, but with all these bugs in ICS, maybe 2 updates.
My experience with HTC on the other hand is it just works, but with the non-removable battery HTC tend to go for(loved my Inspire, just no bigger batteries), I am stuck with Samsung and their SLOOOOW bug fixes but superior extended batteries.
My Samsung Captivate worked perfect after the final update.........
