I like the vanilla look of Jelly Bean (none of that TouchWiz layer), but I tinker with the rest of the look. I changed the clock and battery meter for instance today (see below), and I'll swap out the live (or static) wallpaper if I find something that fits the clean theme. Yeah, pretty similar to your tastes I bet.

You must be rooted then? I'm not that advanced yet, go launcher is about all I can handle. In fact I'm still running gingerbread because of all the problems I kept hearing about the ics update. Keep up the good work!

Yes I am. I took the dive and rooted and flashed Cyanogenmod10 stable a few weeks ago. I wanted the features of Jelly Bean (Google Now, "project butter", etc.), and having owned a Nexus device before (Nexus One was my first Android phone), I wanted the vanilla Android OS experience again.

Yes this is a skyrocket yes its the stock battery. At 10% I was at 16 hours and 6 hours screen on.

Pretty impressive battery life so far. Are you using any battery app for conservation?

No I don't use those they are evil wake lock creating beasts. And I still have a few wake issues to find.
