Hi guys,

I got my first android phone a few weeks ago, the Samsung Galaxy S II, and i absolutely love. I have tried a few different ROMs, Most Notably Lite'ning, CM7 and MIUI, i really liked MIUI, but i found to be too unstable to keep on my phone.

So, i am asking for everyone's favourite ROM, and the reason why, as i am looking into finding one to keep for a while.

Ivtried checkrom, but kept having issues when trying to install a theme to it

VillainRom has been incredibly stable for me.

I had VillainRom for a day, and i really liked it, i have gone back to CheckRom for now, i have managed to get the themes working. Don't know which to stay with to be honest.

Any other recommendations?

I quite love Lite'ning tbh. Rather smooth, and I like the blue shades throughout.

I really like lite'ning, the blue is really nice. But the dev seems to have dissappeared

While this is true, I have belief that either someone will come along and take the work over, or he's waiting for ICS to become available.

I hope so, it is a really nice ROM.

Rocking CyanogenMod at the moment, really loving it, missing a few of the samsung features though

I'm thinkin' of Revolution tbh. Can't wait to see what Leo does with 4.0, though. :o

I use leodroids from its pretty nice. For me it has just enough tweaks and not too many to make it ott

Im using the leodroid rom... Can you confirm if checkrom is basically an updated version?
