I just got my first android phone and have a noob question
How can I tell if my phone has been rooted. I bought galaxy s2 i9100 international (from France judging by the box and samsung.fr link in the browser) bought from newegg and noticed that the manual has been removed and a warranty card was put in and the box was resealed with a samsung sticker. now I'm curious if anything else was done to the phone. when I first set it up there was an update from 2.3.3 to 2.3.5 and Ive updated it, would this reset anything that was done to the phone and is there a way to tell otherwise.

One easy way to check if it has been rooted is download Root Check from the Android market. It will basically say yes or no.
