Did I break or turn off Touchwiz?
Had my GS2/Sprint in my pocket today. I could hear it typing characters, apparently found it's way into messaging. I was busy with something and tapping "back" and a couple other things didn't seem to have any impact. So I powered it down.
On restart: I'm down to four home screens, most widgets disappeared, all my apps are in a single screen pane. SWYPE does not work. And each home screen has an intro to Android hint box in it. Did I turn off Touchwiz somehow? How to get it back.
Strictly stock unit, never rooted or anything sketchy at all. Please help - 06-16-2012, 10:04 PMThread Author #2

Fixed it. Sure wasn't easy or obvious, but now fully restored as it was before.

That's just a well known issue with an Sammy's OS!
