I rooted by S2 so I could turn off all the bloatware, and started using RootBox ROM (V3.9.1).
All is well, except now the 2GB memory limit runs out in in a week. I restore the phone (factory reset) to have 1GB internal free space. A week later I get the warning of running out of internal memory. I only use the phone for emails, txt, bit of web surfing and news. No music or videos. I cleared down the cache yesterday and got 360MB in total free, but now its 16MB after 24 hours! WTF!
I thought RootBox was pretty good, but this problem is since using RootBox. Anyone else usng RootBox with the same issues - any better recommendations to stop this memory wipeout!?
Oh, and here's how the internal memory is reported:
- Total space = 1.97GB
- Apps (and data) = 872MB
- Cached data = 1.43MB
- Available = 19.43MB
Where's the rest of it gone? - available space just disappears...
