Why can't I send/receive MMS pictures?

AC Question

can't send/receive MMS pictures

I have an unlocked AT&T Galaxy S II with Straight Talk.
Everything works fine except send/receive pics.
I have the card from Straight Talk. I have tried several
APN Settings.

Re: can't send/receive MMS pictures

Do you have the AT&T card or the TMobile card? (Straight Talk uses both.) The APN has to match the carrier. (The settings came with the card. Look under Settings, More networks, Mobile networks, for the APN settings and either edit the one you have or if you can't, add a new one and put the proper settings in there.

If the settings are correct, make sure that the pictures you're sending aren't over 1MB in size. Anything between 1MB and 25MB has to be sent by email. Anything over 25MB has to be posted on a file or picture sharing site (I use MEGA - I've downloaded 2+GB files from there with no problem) and text or email the person a link to the file.

But if you can't receive either, my guess is that it's your APN settings, specifically the MMS ones down near the bottom of the list.
