    I'm confused, isn't the Vibrant an S2?

No, the Tmobile version of the Vibrant II is just a small hardware upgrade of the Galaxy SI (one) or in the same pair as the Int'l version of the GT-i9000 in which they just added a front-face camara (which the GT-i9000 already has) and HSPA+ (4G) support, a battery bump to 1650mAh...

But nothing more as far as I'm aware. The screen remains the same, the size the same and it is a Samoled not SamoledPlus ok.

Here's a pretty good source showing that T-mo will be carrying the US Galaxy S2.

Except that the image was taken directly off of Adobe's website, and they have no reason whatsoever to photoshop this type of image. So yeah we pretty much do know that this wasn't photoshopped the full article is at Tmonews

I just hope we get the world Samsung Galaxy II and not a bastardized version that the carriers give us. Just release as is. Hopefully we will be able to easily get CM7 on an amazing phone as this.

Yeah I know, especially for the Epic because I don't think you would need a keyboard if you have a 4.3 inch screen with a keyboard lol

T-Mobile got the Samsung Galaxy S first, just 15 days after the big event in New York Last year.

    Anyone else seeing any parallels?

Verizon last time I checked has like 20 android devices and several LTE devices very soon. You'll survive.

Have you seen Verizon's line-up? We are getting scraps while the other carriers get the creme of the crop.

Oh but we have the iPhone now *eye roll*

I actually think they should change the look. I want the 4 buttons at the bottom. That infuse looks good the way they made it

The phone in that article showed weather for Barcelona. Is there reason to believe they were not talking about T-Mobile Europe? The US uses AWS bands, which according to the S II specs is not supported.

Here is a question. In order to support AWS bands, is any different hardware needed? Or it is just a software change to the radio?

The photo is a stock photo for the phone they use that photo for everything, and the reason it's showing weather for barcelona is because it's the photo they used at MWC in Barcelona when they very first revealed the existence of the Galaxy S2.

No, a hardware change is required. Samsung's gonna have to swap out the radio for their super duper special AWS radio which frankly shouldn't take that long.
