Started having an issue with external card. Keep getting a message that the card is blank and has unsupported files. I tried to format it but still no luck getting rid of the message. Is the card bad because i never used it and had it for 5 months now with no issues before. Thanks

I have couple of ideas:
1) Try another card to see if it works
2) Try to use card in external card reader
3) Try to clean card by rubbing it with cotton wool.
