4500 mAH Extended battery for SIII

I have one of these Gorilla Gadgets for my soon to be retired Droid X. It has been a good battery for my X, and I just saw that they are offering a 4500 mAH one for the SIII. Only drawback is the supplied back is offered in white only, and it does not mention NFC capable ( I will assume it is not).

On a vzw s3 what would I miss without it being nfc capable? Other than using tiles.
And what about a case ?

Why does the extended battery come with a cover? Does that mean the battery is bigger in size? Just wondering...in case I want to get one (and not have to get a new phone case in the process).

Yes, unfortunately you will have to forgo a case.

Was looking at this earlier. Hyperion has a couple. Cheap too on Amazon. 3800 should be enough to use the phone for a day heavily right?
